The Shard at London Bridge is the tallest building in the European Union. It features 95 floors, 72 of which are habitable. It currently stands at 306 meters (1004 ft) and the interior fitting is still underway. Construction was started in March 2009 and finished in July 2012. The Shard became open to the public - by booking only - in February 2013.
